Why We Built Rixx: Research Was Broken
Research today isn’t hard because information is scarce. It’s hard because it’s fragmented. Rixx was built to bring search, understanding, and creation into one intelligent workspace.
Intro
Research today isn’t difficult because information is unavailable.
It’s difficult because it’s scattered across tabs, PDFs, links, notes, and tools that don’t talk to each other.
We built Rixx because we felt this pain every day.
When search stopped being enough
Search engines are great at finding answers.
But research isn’t about answers, it’s about understanding, context, and continuity.
AI chats improved speed, but they didn’t solve fragmentation.
What we wanted instead
We wanted a single place where:
- All inputs live together
- Context is never lost
- AI understands everything you add
- Research turns into reusable knowledge
That idea became Rixx.
How Rixx approaches research
Rixx combines:
- Multimodal inputs (text, PDFs, links, images)
- An infinite, node-based workspace
- Context-aware AI reasoning
- Citations and structured outputs
Not quick answers: deep work.
Who Rixx is for
Rixx is built for:
- Students doing real research
- Founders validating ideas
- Creators building long-form content
- Teams working on complex problems
It’s not built for one-line questions.
What’s next
Rixx is still early.
Our focus is simple:
- Better understanding
- Stronger connections
- Research you can build on
Closing
Rixx exists for people who think deeply and care about clarity.
If that sounds like you, explore Rixx.

AI Can Answer. But Can It Understand?
AI can generate answers instantly. But real understanding takes context, memory, and connection. Here’s why answers alone aren’t enough anymore.
From Scattered Tabs to Structured Knowledge
Modern research isn’t limited by information. It’s limited by fragmentation. Here’s how scattered tabs, notes, and AI chats became the biggest barrier to real understanding, and what comes next.
